Advertiser Help Questions

In the affiliate context, self-service platforms are tools that allow advertisers and publishers to buy and sell traffic across a wide range of exchanges. The two main types of self-service platforms are demand-side platforms (DSPs) and supply-side platforms (SSPs), which are designed for advertisers and publishers, respectively.

It’s very easy to set up an account at ActiveRevenue. Just follow this link and fill out the information. Please note that you need to disable AdBlock if it’s enabled

Contact your account manager and she/he will help you to resolve this issue.  Or write us in Skype: activerevenue support or email: [email protected]

Once logged in, you can go to the right corner on the top of your advertiser account, click on My Profile and update your email information.

Advertisers can choose any of the following payment systems: PayPal, Payoneer, WebMoney, Capitalist, and Paxum.

The fees are around 2-3% but ActiveRevenue covers those fees, so don’t worry about them. For example, if you fund with $100, that is the amount you will see in your balance.

Credit card funding is awarded to long-time advertisers that have been working with us for a while. You can contact your account manager in order to request approval from our finance department.

You can contact your account manager from 9am to 6pm (GMT+3 time zone) Monday through Friday, plus you’ll also have limited access on weekends.

The time zone for the metrics in ActiveRevenue is PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) UTC/GMT -7 hours. The system time is displayed on the platform at the top left as a reference.

It usually takes up to 15 mins to be displayed on the platform (if you pay through Paxum, WebMoney, Payoneer, or PayPal). If you send the money via wire transfer, it takes about 2-3 days to get deposited. After being received, these funds are added to your balance.

Of course you can! All you need to do is contact our team and send a message that includes your email address to receive all invoices once they are generated by our finance department.

For now, it’s not possible to top up your account with Bitcoin. However, if you use Capitalist you can convert Bitcoins to US dollars and top your balance through the same platform. If you’re not sure how to do this, the team at Capitalist will be glad to help.

It’s not possible to work with XML integrations because ActiveRevenue is a DSP. You can create campaigns on our platform or you can create campaigns on your side with API integration.

There are many reasons why a campaign can be rejected, including nudity, aggressive strategies, malware, potential for fraud like phishing, and links that don’t work properly, among others. You need to make sure that your campaign abides by our terms of use in order to get it approved.

If you meet all our requirements, the most likely answer is that your account balance is low and needs to be topped up. You can contact your account manager if you’re still experiencing difficulties.

ActiveRevenue does not allow nudity or sexually explicit materials

Yes, ActiveRevenu is balance-dependent. We suggest that you keep money on your balance in order to avoid losing traffic. You will automatically receive emails when your balance is low, so take the opportunity to add funds then.

You should choose offers in our top-performing industries. Our top and best verticals to start are gambling, betting, casino, utilities, finance, binary, cryptocurrency, gossip, ecommerce, dating, and gaming.

ActiveRevenue uses Forensiq for ad fraud detection and prevention.

There are no extra fees to get help from your account manager. You can find your assigned manager contact information at the left bottom of your advertiser account and reach out if you have any questions.

No. To get a publisher account you need to go through the process and register as a publisher.

If you disable or delete your campaigns, all charges to your account are stopped automatically.

Once logged into your dashboard, look on the left-side column and click on Campaigns, then on Create a Campaign. Choose your ad format and go through the rest of the steps to finish the process.

Yes, you can edit your campaign details anytime.

Advertisers can choose pop ads, push notifications, floating push notifications, zero-click ads, and calendar push notification campaigns.

It takes about 10-15 minutes during our working hours, but keep in mind that the process can take longer on weekends.

It can usually take up to 30 minutes.

Every campaign is different, so you need to understand your audience to choose the best format. With that said, some of our top performers include interstitials, floating push ads, and pop ads. Contact your account manager or ping us in Skype: activerevenue support or email: [email protected] to help.

Yes you can! To choose a different type of traffic, you have to go to the Budget & Limits tab and change toggle the different traffic options there.

At ActiveRevenue, our advertiser partners can choose either cost-per-click (CPC) or cost-per-1000 impressions (CPM) campaigns.

We allow partners to target users by location, operating systems (OS), browsers, device types, carriers, and time zone.

To see the optimization tools you have available, you can go to the Creatives tab in your campaign details.

Advertisers have a feature called auto blacklist optimization. With this feature, you can set your CPA goals or impression goals. All sources that can’t reach the goal will be blacklisted automatically, which should improve your results.

Also, you can use auto bid optimization by writing down your targeted ROI goal and setting the max CPV possible.

Yes, you can block keywords in pop ads and zero-click ads. Just go to your campaign settings, then click on Micro Targeting, then Keywords, and enable the blacklist.

ASAP means that you will get whatever traffic your bid could win you at any given moment. Meaning, you could reach your daily budget within minutes or hours, it just depends on how high your bid is.

If you want your traffic to be distributed evenly per hour throughout the day, it’s best to choose an Evenly budget type. For example, if your daily budget is $24, that means that you will get maximum traffic worth $1 per hour and not more than that. So basically it’s your daily budget divided by 24.

If you are working with a tracking system already, all you need to do is add the macro “creative” to the URL and attach the relevant parameter to the link of each creative you have for your campaign.

Log into your account, go to the Optimizations tab and select the Traffic Estimator.

You can see traffic volumes by type and device by logging in and clicking on the Optimizations tab. Here, you can choose device type, traffic type, or location.

Yes. To turn on the feature, go to the Edit Campaign tab and click on the fourth segment of the campaign build-up under the Creatives section. Then, you should put the CPA goal of your offer in the “blacklist by cost section” and click save.

We don’t, simply due to the fact that different campaigns work best with different traffic sources. It’s more reasonable to let our partners do their own tests and create their own whitelist/blacklists.

Pubfeeds contain many source_subid’s within them. They are basically considered the mother sources of many source_subid’s.

So, in order to optimize to the most accurate source, it’s best to optimize according to the source_subid’s and not its pubfeeds

The {pubfeed}/{source} parameter indicates the main source and is blacklisted in the same way you receive it, while {source_subid} indicates its subids and is blacklisted with a “.” from the beginning.

So, if you want to add {source_subid} = 12345to the blacklist then it has to appear like this:

  • .12345

You can check your position in the Statistics tab. The perfect position is 1. This means that your bid is convenient and that you are getting enough traffic. If your Position is more than 1 (1.12, 1.30, etc.) you should increase your bid by 10-15-20%.

To get more traffic you can either raise your bids or add more devices/device types and browsers to your campaigns. The wider your targeting settings, the more traffic you can get.

Note that the bid is important as well. The narrower your targeting options are, the higher the bid should be. Also, it depends on the budget type selected, so play around with these variables to see what works best.

We can do a test together and see if the system recognizes the conversion made. For that, your account manager has to give you a test link, which you have to use to complete the conversion process. Once you finish the process, tell your account manager and this team member will tell you if it was registered or not.

A CTA is a sentence at the end of your ad that tells users exactly what you want them to do. Examples of CTAs include power phrases like “click here” “sign up today” and “buy now”.
